1. Privacy Policy

1.1 Scope

This policy applies to your use of the “Good day+” mobile application (the “App”) and explains how data is collected, used, stored, and disclosed.

1.2 Our Core Principles

• The App is designed primarily for offline / on-device use.
• The App does not require account registration.
• Under the current design, the App does not implement user behavior tracking, does not include built-in advertising SDKs, and does not proactively upload diary content to our servers (unless you, through system sharing/backup features, cause the data to sync within your device ecosystem).
• Update notifications / checks (Upgrader): To inform you of new versions, the App may, when you use this feature, query Apple App Store–related services for the latest version information. This behavior does not include your diary content or attached images.
• If you enable Face ID/biometric authentication, the App only uses the system’s on-device authentication result and does not access or store your biometric data.

1.3 What Data We Process

The App may process the following data on your device:

1. Content you actively create or enter
   • Diary text, titles, dates, moods/emojis, and other content you create in the App (if any)
   • Images you choose to attach (optional)
2. App settings and preferences
   • Language (including Traditional Chinese UI/localization settings), reminder time, whether reminders are enabled, and certain UI preferences
3. Technical data (minimum necessary)
   • Time zone information (for notification scheduling and correct date/time display)
   • Device permission status (e.g., whether notifications/photo permissions are granted; used only to determine feature availability)
   • Device language/region information (for localized display; and to help retrieve the correct store version information during update checks)
   • App version information (for displaying version, update prompts, or debugging)
   • Basic device information (e.g., OS version/model; for compatibility checks or debugging)

The App does not require you to provide your name, phone number, national ID number, precise location, or similar information. If you enter personal information in your diary, that content is still data you voluntarily input and manage yourself.

1.4 How Data Is Used

• Diary management and display: create, edit, delete, search, calendar view, sorting, etc.
• Reminder notifications: send local notifications on your device based on your settings
